The Friends of Robert Owen House
An Isle of Man Registered Charity, number 839
In a nutshell, we are an Isle of Man charity dedicated to raising funds in support of Robert Owen House. The House is a bed and breakfast facility in the grounds of the Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital (part of the Broadgreen Hospital campus) where relatives and carers of patients at the hospital can stay overnight (or longer) in secure, friendly and close accommodation. Whilst available to the whole of the hospital’s catchment area, the facility is used extensively by Isle of Man residents. For more information about us, the House and the Hospital, please follow the links above.

Pictured at Port St Mary inner harbour are the Watterson family and friends - from back left Leanne, Andrew, James, Aaron, John Turner, Kev Howard, Gemma, Gary Raeside, Lyz Moore and Craig Moore. In front Dean, Kiara, Kim Moore, and Caelyn Millar. This was the third of five New Years Day dips they and their brave (?) friends did on behalf of the Friends and Noble’s Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit. Dad Chris ‘Watty’ Watterson of Patrick spent time in the LHCH this summer and the family used the ROH facilities. So far they have raised some £3000, so really well done to them and a BIG THANK YOU from us!
